Meet Dr. Clara Lee

Clara Lee, DDS

I treat every patient how I would like to be treated. I’ve been a patient in a dental chair before so I can relate how patients feel. My goal is to deliver excellent dental care in a friendly manner.

I always had a passion in healthcare field, and it started from simply enjoying studying science. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with high honor in biochemistry and music. I continued to seek ways to help people in health field by studying Master’s degree in Public Health at Columbia University. Then I found dentistry was the perfect way of combining my hand skills and desire to help others. I received my Doctoral of Dental Surgery at New York University. Further training in general practice dentistry residency was completed at NYC Health + Hospital affiliated with Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai.

Dental public health is the core of my dental practice. I put an effort into patient education and disease prevention in the dental clinic. I try to advocate dental public health outside of the clinic as well. I am part of a dental outreach group that goes to Oaxaca, Mexico every year. We provide care to those who have no access.

I love seeing my patients walking out of my chair with a happy smile. These feelings of gratification become a motivation for me to accept challenges and continue learning new techniques. I practice a wide range of dentistry from root canal treatment to surgery and cosmetic dentistry.

After residency, I practiced in Jacksonville, Florida. I recently moved to New Jersey with my family; my husband and my baby girl. I am very excited to explore the Union county and get to know each and every one of you!
