Meet Dr. Rishi Phakey

Rishi Phakey, DMD

I was born and raised in London, England and moved to New Jersey as a young boy. I attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey for my undergraduate education where I earned my B.A. degree in Biological Science and minors in French and Psychology. I went on to further my education by receiving my Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences & Oral Biology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey before earning my DMD Degree from the University of New England.

My number one passion outside of Dentistry is travel and I am often jet setting around the world. I find planes and aviation extremely interesting and would someday even like to obtain a pilot's license. I thoroughly enjoy immersing myself into new cultures and am very fortunate to have lived in many different countries and experience the vastly different continents. I am trilingual and am fluent in French and Hindi in addition to English. My other interests include cooking, swimming, going to the beach, and staying active. I love to be in kitchen experimenting with new recipes and ingredients. Additionally, as a teen, I proudly attained the rank of Eagle Scout, Scouting's highest achievement.

I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and like to form long lasting relationships with my patients. I am skilled in various aspects of dentistry including restorative, cosmetic, to endodontic. I make my treatment plans for patients by implementing modern techniques and current best practices from evidence-based sources to provide the best care possible. My goal isto provide quality care to everyone while making each individual patient feel comfortable in our dental office. I am thrilled to be back in the Garden State and to be a part of The Dental Family. I look forward to meeting you and working alongside with you each step of the way.
